Компанія Alpina анонсувала свою нову модель BMW Alpina B3 GT3.

На автомобілі використаний такий-же 3.0-літровий рядний 6-циліндровий бітурбований силовий агрегат як і на Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo, однак - завдяки вдосконаленій вихлопній системі потужність збільшилася на 8 к.с., / 402 к. с. і 540 Нм максимального крутного моменту. У новій вихлопній системі був використаний титановий задній глушник з парою труб діаметром 115 мм - подарунок від Akrapovic.
Розгін автомобіля з 0 до 100 км / год займає 4.6 секунди - дуже непоганий, хоча і не особливо видатний результат.
Також автомобіль отримав фірмові 19-дюймові легкосплавні колісні диски Alpina GT3 CLASSIC і шини - Michelin Pilot Sport 2 для щоденної їзди і Michelin Pilot Sport Cup + для треку.
Приємним моментом є нова гвинтова спортивна підвіска.
Доопрацювання аеродинаміки автомобіля полягає в карбоновому передньму спліттері, бічних аеродинамічних направляючих на передньому бампері, задньому дифузорі і карбоновому крилі.
Всередині автомобіля вас зустріне оздоблення чорною шкірою і алькантарою, а також спортивні сидіння від Recaro.
Модель B3 GT3 буде випущена обмеженим тиражем в 99 екземплярів. Зелено / синьо / срібляста колірна схема, запозичена з офіційного гоночного боліда B6 GT3, разом з обробкою інтер'єру зеленим лаком, буде пропонуватися в якості опції.
Продажі автомобіля стартують навесні 2012 року, цінник дорівнює € 90,000 (з урахуванням 19% податку в Німеччині).
